What type of grip do you have kyle? It doesn't look like a thick grip. I know some say that you get better speed with a thicker grip, but I think that might depends on the person. What are your thoughts on that?

Nice to see you made it over here Kyle. For best chances of a dry day (it'll pretty much *always* be windy!) try to aim for August for future trips. At least you didn't suffer *proper* (sideways) rain for this one like the GoodGood lads did across the estuary at St Andrews last year! If I knew you were coming over, I have a Canon SLR & a tripod, & would have been happy to set aside a day to grab footage so you can just play golf (I live 10miles from there). Anyhoo, I hope you are having / had an enjoyable trip over here. :)
